Mother Of Thousands! Kalanchoe

These beautiful ornamental plants are nice outdoor and indoor plants as well. When mature, they will have a nice cluster of bell shaped blooms that are pink to coral color, generally blooming in the fall or spring. Requiring minimal care, the mother of millions plant can tolerate high temperatures as well as frequent drought (…or occasional neglect). 

Okinawan Spinach from my Garden!

Okinawan Spinach, also known as Gynura crepioides, is unusual not only in that it has fancier color, it also is the variety grown for medicinal purposes. This type produces way more Proanthocyanidin than any other variety. It is the Proanthocyanidin content which is currently being investigated for its health benefits.

Chaya Plant Cnidoscolus chayamansa

Chaya is a  good source of protein, vitamins (A and C), minerals (calcium, iron and phosphorus), niacin, riboflavin and thiamine. 

 However, raw chaya leaves are toxic as they contain a glucoside that can release toxic cyanide. Cooking for 15 minutes is essential prior to consumption to inactivate the toxic components

Mexican Petunia

The Mexican Petunia is beautiful ornamental Plant

that features showy purple trumpet-shaped flowers at the ends of the stems from late winter to mid fall. It's serrated narrow leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year. It is an ideal plant for use in a border or in hedges or at waterside. It can also grow in pots or in containers. When in full bloom, the plant attracts many butterflies.

‘Purple Showers’ is a sterile cultivar.
